I'm a farm kid from Texas who landed my dream career in design and advertising. For years, I helped bring other people's ideas to life through compelling storytelling and thoughtful design. Eventually, I decided it was time to build something of my own.

I started Kingfisher at my kitchen counter in East Dallas, in a spot where I usually sat with a sewing machine and a pile of thrift store fabric scraps.

The idea came from the overlap of two worlds: my background in design and my brother's love of golf. I did what any designer would do -- I saw a pervasive design problem, and pursued a solution. I wanted to make clothing that looked better, felt timeless, and was made with intention.

We're not here to tell you we "fixed golf polos." We're not posing as "streetwear" or pretending a shirt will change your life.

We believe well-designed clothing should work hard, wear well, and make you feel like the best version of yourself -- whether you're on the course, grabbing dinner afterward, or anywhere in between.

Thanks for being here. I can't wait to see where you take Kingfisher.
